Assignment 12


My character’s name is Daniel. He is a little shorter than your average man, standing around 170cm tall. He is still quite well built with his muscles having a little bit of tone. He likes to wear a tank top and sweatpants. Despite looking like a gym lad, he is rather sweet and caring. He thinks of others before himself. He just wants everyone to have a good time. Daniel lives in a loft by himself. It’s not far away from the city and has just enough space for a one person to live there. Daniel has lived there for a year and has some gym equipment on the floor. He lives next to an old lady who likes to visit him sometimes.  Since Daniel moved to the loft he had a neighbour hood an old lady. She has a good relationship with her. The old lady lives alone and sometimes she needs help so Daniel helps him out with the backyard and washing clothes and the old lady thanks him by cooking him some delicious blueberry pie which Daniel really loves it. Daniel went to the local gym and in the gym, he lifted his new record of 200lbs from the bench. after that Daniel went to supermarket to pick up some food for himself and for the old lady that lives in her neighbour because she is really old and doesn’t have car. Daniel is a very kind man. Daniel is driving to home after supermarket when suddenly he got in car crash. Daniel wakes up at hospital and he is not able to move his bodyparts. He is thinking this might be the end. Maybe he might be alive but what if he can never move his arms or legs again. Doctor came to room and told that he is temporarily paralyzed. He asks what that means. Doctor says that it might take half year to cover. Daniel was upset but he thought it could have been worse.
He decided to go to a support group and found many other people who were on the same situation. His paralysis never passed, but he didn’t mind. He had found the most beautiful fiancé by his side who promised to stand by his side no matter what. They lived their happily ever after.

Recipe for a nice assigned text Ingredients Observations, the more the better Love, whole lotta Whatever you're given Preparation 1. Since you can't predict what the assigned text will be about there is nothing to prepare for the actual dish. However you should prepare the cooking utensils by giving your brain a fair amount of rest and nutrition. 2.When you get told about the dish you're making and the ingredients you'll get, you should try and see what ingredients would make a nice combination. There should be about 6-8 parts in your dish including how you will start the text and end it. One certain ingredient is observation as a spice. You should put a very fair amount on every individual part of the dish. As much as you can find really as long as it's relevant. 3. After that you should work on making the parts fit as a singular entity and make sure the taste and grammar is good. 4. The final touch is to give it an appropriate name to represent the idea

Assignment 10

The former translation is more of a literal translation word for word whilst the latter is translating the song into a similar Finnish song. On the literal translation it gives the words of the original, reads like a translation, possesses the style of the translation, reads as a contemporary of the translation, never adds to or omits from the original and it's written in prose. On the more liberal translation it gives the ideas of the original, reads like an original work, reflects the style of the original, is read as a contemporary of the original, adds to or omits from the original and is written in verse.
