My character’s name is Daniel. He is a little shorter than your average man, standing around 170cm tall. He is still quite well built with his muscles having a little bit of tone. He likes to wear a tank top and sweatpants. Despite looking like a gym lad, he is rather sweet and caring. He thinks of others before himself. He just wants everyone to have a good time. Daniel lives in a loft by himself. It’s not far away from the city and has just enough space for a one person to live there. Daniel has lived there for a year and has some gym equipment on the floor. He lives next to an old lady who likes to visit him sometimes.   Since Daniel moved to the loft he had a neighbour hood an old lady. She has a good relationship with her. Assignment 3

Single mom and the septuplets Once upon a time there was a single mother of seven called Whitney. As one could expect Whitney is having a hard time at making a living for herself and her septuplets. Their father was a deadbeat so even though he ended having to give child support it was close to nothing. At the moment the septuplets are seven and therefor they are going to start school in a few weeks. Whitney does work part time whenever she can but it's hard because the father refuses to look after the kids and both of their parents are quite busy. Whitney was having such a rough time with money that she had to bargain for the food she bought and due to this she ended up only getting slightly spoiled food at best. So far there wasn't any problems with this but then she ended biting into an apple which whilst not looking too bad was very rotten on the inside. She ended up getting a severe food poisoning from the apple and had to call the ambulance for herself. When getting rea

The former translation is more of a literal translation word for word whilst the latter is translating the song into a similar Finnish song. On the literal translation it gives the words of the original, reads like a translation, possesses the style of the translation, reads as a contemporary of the translation, never adds to or omits from the original and it's written in prose. On the more liberal translation it gives the ideas of the original, reads like an original work, reflects the style of the original, is read as a contemporary of the original, adds to or omits from the original and is written in verse. Ellinoora - Elephant's weight Back then you thought that this is the end But it wasn't your time to become a part of the stream The day unfolded but it stuck in the back of the head Nor did we speak ever of it again Lions don't have tear channels When even weaknesses are strengths I don't even dare to ask Hey what is it but I notice from your eyes

Assignment 9

The picture of the British captain Bobby Moore and Brazilian superstar Pelé trading jerseys in 1970 is an early act of anti-racism in football which was a very prominent problem in football. Whilst it has calmed down quite a lot racism is still very much there in football. Just this past weekend a striker Romelu Lukaku who plays for Inter Milan had to hear racist chants from Cagliari fans during the match between the two teams. The picture in itself is nothing special. The lighting seems to be natural lighting, the central focus is right in front of the lens, it's normally angled and in all the composition doesn't really have anything noteworthy to it. However the picture is somehow a very special and powerful photo. That's because the message of a photo isn't just about what is in the photo. The context of the photo can provide so much more to it. In my opinion this photo is very beautiful even though it's not visually anything too hard hitting. The photo in its si

Assignment 8

I'm a 21 year young man named Andy from Omaha, Nebraska. Yeehaw. Since there isn't a whole lot to do in Nebraska I've started to go on a road trip from time to time. This time I set off to Tulsa, Oklahoma to see a part of the famous route 66. Whilst it isn't the longest trip I've made, a little over 600 km is still a long trip. To get myself psyched up for the road trip I put Born in the U.S.A by the Boss on repeat. Most people I've met tend to get bored of a song rather fast if they listen to it too much but I will never get bored of Bruce. I did decide to listen to other songs along with the good ol' classic since I didn't want my voice to wear down before I got home. I did end up being in the car for eleven hours for this trip after all. The music included stuff like AC/DC, Metallica and some others. After two and half hours or so I took my only pit stop at Topeka, Kansas. When I was planning the trip and looked for things to do in Topeka the first th
