Assignment 9

The picture of the British captain Bobby Moore and Brazilian superstar Pelé trading jerseys in 1970 is an early act of anti-racism in football which was a very prominent problem in football. Whilst it has calmed down quite a lot racism is still very much there in football. Just this past weekend a striker Romelu Lukaku who plays for Inter Milan had to hear racist chants from Cagliari fans during the match between the two teams. The picture in itself is nothing special. The lighting seems to be natural lighting, the central focus is right in front of the lens, it's normally angled and in all the composition doesn't really have anything noteworthy to it. However the picture is somehow a very special and powerful photo. That's because the message of a photo isn't just about what is in the photo. The context of the photo can provide so much more to it. In my opinion this photo is very beautiful even though it's not visually anything too hard hitting. The photo in its simplicity is two successful men having a laugh whilst exchanging shirts but due to the problems of their territory the photo speaks much more than it realistically should.

Since you can't predict what the assigned text will be about there is nothing to prepare for the actual dish. However you should prepare the cooking utensils by giving your brain a fair amount of rest and nutrition. 2.When you get told about the dish you're making and the ingredients you'll get, you should try and see what ingredients would make a nice combination. There should be about 6-8 parts in your dish including how you will start the text and end it. One certain ingredient is observation as a spice. You should put a very fair amount on every individual part of the dish. As much as you can find really as long as it's relevant. 3. After that you should work on making the parts fit as a singular entity and make sure the taste and grammar is good. 4. The final touch is to give it an appropriate name to represent the idea

Assignment 10

The former translation is more of a literal translation word for word whilst the latter is translating the song into a similar Finnish song. On the literal translation it gives the words of the original, reads like a translation, possesses the style of the translation, reads as a contemporary of the translation, never adds to or omits from the original and it's written in prose. On the more liberal translation it gives the ideas of the original, reads like an original work, reflects the style of the original, is read as a contemporary of the original, adds to or omits from the original and is written in verse.
