The former translation is more of a literal translation word for word whilst the latter is translating the song into a similar Finnish song. On the literal translation it gives the words of the original, reads like a translation, possesses the style of the translation, reads as a contemporary of the translation, never adds to or omits from the original and it's written in prose. On the more liberal translation it gives the ideas of the original, reads like an original work, reflects the style of the original, is read as a contemporary of the original, adds to or omits from the original and is written in verse.
