Assignment 8

I'm a 21 year young man named Andy from Omaha, Nebraska. Yeehaw. Since there isn't a whole lot to do in Nebraska I've started to go on a road trip from time to time. This time I set off to Tulsa, Oklahoma to see a part of the famous route 66. Whilst it isn't the longest trip I've made, a little over 600 km is still a long trip. To get myself psyched up for the road trip I put Born in the U.S.A by the Boss on repeat. Most people I've met tend to get bored of a song rather fast if they listen to it too much but I will never get bored of Bruce. I did decide to listen to other songs along with the good ol' classic since I didn't want my voice to wear down before I got home. I did end up being in the car for eleven hours for this trip after all. The music included stuff like AC/DC, Metallica and some others. After two and half hours or so I took my only pit stop at Topeka, Kansas. When I was planning the trip and looked for things to do in Topeka the first th...

Assignment 5

a chimpanzee recognizes faces  The trait could come from common ancestors.  Humans figure out faces faster and differently than other shapes. Before this it had been thought as a trait that only humans had but now it's been found out that chimpanzees detect faces at manlike efficiency.  This was figured out when Japanese Masaki Tomonaga and Tomoka Imura taught three female chimpanzees to search for different things like for an example cars, bananas and faces from pictures. Chimpanzees spotted out their fellow chimpanzees faces faster than any other figures.   an upside down face doesn't work   With humans face recognition bases on figuring out the big picture fast and it seems to be the same with chimpanzees.  Just like humans chimpanzees recognized faces noticeably worse when they were upside down. Also covering eyes, noses and mouths slowed the process.  On the other hand making the pictures black and white didn't really affect the face...

Assignment 2

a stressful day at the ocean It was a day I will never forget. We went fishing at the Ocean with my family. In my family there's me, my older brother, mother and father. Mind you I was only seven years old at the time and I didn't know how to swim so I was very scared of the thought of going out there on a boat. As we got on the boat my mom told me to hang in there and that it will be fine but I had my suspicions still. Luckily on the day the skies were clear with little to no wind. I tried to stall our boat trip as much as possible but in the end my brother reminded me of the dirt he had dug on me. So I eventually got on the boat against my will. "Why does my brother get to pick all the trips?" I asked my parents. "Well he does give good suggestions", my father answered. Whilst I do agree with his sentiment now, at the time I wasn't having it. Then my brother asked me if I could hand him his lunch which was in a tin container. Thinking I could annoy m...

Recipe for a nice assigned text Ingredients Observations, the more the better Love, whole lotta Whatever you're given Preparation 1. Since you can't predict what the assigned text will be about there is nothing to prepare for the actual dish. However you should prepare the cooking utensils by giving your brain a fair amount of rest and nutrition. 2.When you get told about the dish you're making and the ingredients you'll get, you should try and see what ingredients would make a nice combination. There should be about 6-8 parts in your dish including how you will start the text and end it. One certain ingredient is observation as a spice. You should put a very fair amount on every individual part of the dish. As much as you can find really as long as it's relevant. 3. After that you should work on making the parts fit as a singular entity and make sure the taste and grammar is good. 4. The final touch is to give it an appropriate name to represent the idea...
